BIDS TOURNAMENT RESULTS

IVC 16U National-Julie won their Bid at MLK on Jan 12th. Finishing 2nd place in Club Division. 

IVC 14U National Megan won their Bid at MLK on Jan 12th. Finishing 1st place in Club Division. 

There are 3 more Regional Bid tournaments left this season. 

A team must compete either in the club or open division. 

Club Division requires you to place 1st-3rd to advance to Regionals. 

Open Division (Power Pool) requires you to compete and place in the top 2 brackets during pool play. All gold bracket teams and all Silver bracket teams receive a Bid to Regionals. 

At Regionals a team must place within the top 1 to 5 teams. Some age group are different depending on how many bids there are left within the region. Winning at Regionals gets you to USAV Nationals!!

AAU has been working on a better system that rewards teams for winning certain tournaments however most teams go to AAU as a pay to play team. Meaning-any team can pay the fee and go to the tournament. 

USAV does have 1 pay to play division called Patriot Division.
